Hopefully you have read a lot of books and learned so much about China.
This week enjoy the Chinese version of a familiar fairytale: Lon Po Po. ( if you listened to it earlier this month, that’s ok)
Talk about, how does it differ from the story you know? How is the same? Record a sentence and picture in your Adventure Journal! Don’t forget to date your work.

Are there any icons on page 44 – 45 that your child is still curious about? Do you have time to do a little more wondering and noticing?
Look back on all that you have learned about China this month! Celebrate it with a meal at a Chinese Restaurant. Look up these influential people from China: Ghingis Khan, Marco Polo, the Dalai Lama
THIS WEEK’S CLASS: Either on Tuesday or Friday, we are heading to a new country!! Are you excited to move on? What will we learn next?

• Begin reading MOH text ~ Lesson 17 Lessons 18 (from week 6)
• Optional: Bring coloring page (see enrichment option) and/or timeline page to class (work on while listening).To be completed this week:
• (Optional) Complete Reading/Listening to Lessons 17 and 18
• History read aloud (A list can be found in Appendix A of the Curriculum Guide.)
