    Class Name: Literature: Grade 2

    This week’s focus: China

    To be completed this week:

Hopefully you have read a lot of books and learned so much about China.

This week enjoy the Chinese version of a familiar fairytale: Lon Po Po. ( if you listened to it earlier this month, that’s ok)

Talk about, how does it differ from the story you know? How is the same? Record a sentence and picture in your Adventure Journal! Don’t forget to date your work.

Writing with Ease – Week 7

ENRICHMENT – Extra resources for children and families who desire more

Are there any icons on page 44 – 45 that your child is still curious about? Do you have time to do a little more wondering and noticing?

Look back on all that you have learned about China this month! Celebrate it with a meal at a Chinese Restaurant. Look up these influential people from China: Ghingis Khan, Marco Polo, the Dalai Lama

THIS WEEK’S CLASS: Either on Tuesday or Friday, we are heading to a new country!! Are you excited to move on? What will we learn next?

    THIS MONTH’S ASSIGNMENT FOR SUBMISSION:

One photocopy of an adventure journal entry by Oct 31, 2020 OR a page of copywork from Writing with Ease to be submitted to Ms. Monica.

Please contact heather@atrbenefits.com with any questions.
