This week’s focus: Lesson 8 and 9 Main Idea and Summary
• Lesson 8 (main idea) (I suggest doing this lesson orally.)
• Begin LESSON 9:
Page 92
Read and narrate: The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf
Finish Sentence Play on page 99: bring this to class as I will ask several students to share theirs.
• During Wednesday’s Zoom class we will work through TALK ABOUT IT, Speak It from last writing sample focusing on elocution and brainstorming for Summary.
• BRING TO CLASS: Small whiteboard and marker OR a clipboard with paper and marker. Completed sentence play from page 99.
To be completed this week: (this may be before or after Wednesday’s class)
• Complete Lesson 8 and 9 – GO DEEPER, WRITING TIME
