Complete Page 150-151, 152-153
I’d suggest review the terms each day and do one set of pages each day. Retention is better with daily practice than one day with all the pages completed.
PLEASE BRING A MINI WHITEBOARD OR CLIPBOARD WITH PAPER and MARKER to class.
To be completed this week:
When you are done the exercises and the quzzes, I suggest having a dance party celebration. You have completed the book! Pat yourself on the back!
ENRICHMENT – Extra resources for children and families who desire more
IN the appendix of the book, there is a great selection of poetry. These would be a good place to choose a poem to memorize from. In particular, the “Charge of the Light Brigade” is a poem Tennyson wrote about the war that Florence Nightingale nursed for. (There’s a little extra history connection…isn’t that cool?)
THIS MONTH’S ASSIGNMENT FOR SUBMISSION:
Please complete these and list the grade on the January submission guide
Predicate Adjective Quiz*
Possessive Nouns quiz
*I neglected to list this last WOL, however, completing this quiz with a gap between that work and the quiz means it will be a good check on the retention for your student.
I’d recommend doing the quizzes on different days if needed.
Please contact email@example.com with any questions and submissions.
