Class Name WOL 2B

This week’s focus: Chapter 6 Interrogative Pronouns

In preparation for Schole support class:

Review songs for terms to date and Interrogative pronouns

This lesson has Predicate nominatives
Sentences that are questions, have verbs moved to the front sometimes.
There are a few direct objects at the beginning of the sentence, be aware.
Sometimes the pronouns are Subjects, objects, or behave as adjectives
Reviewing the questions you ask as you analyze will help

Parents can read p 107 on their own first to get context. The big deal is the last sentence…”The interrogative pronouns are who, whose, whom, which, and what”.—they ask questions

Perhaps parents could be near and check the work carefully. I suggest checking after analysis, then diagram.

The Chart on page 109 can be helpful,
The lowest box labelled FROM THE SIDELINE on page 109 is helpful

To be completed this week:

P116-119 if possible by Wednesdays class
Complete to p 123 before quiz

ENRICHMENT – Extra resources for children and families who desire more
